Sri Shambhavananda's blog

I have permission to give you my teacher's blogspot. He regularly gives us insight in his own wonderful way. I thought you all might like to read it, so you can see how the tools you are learning actually helps you so much in your day to day problems.

Thanks for sharing Babaji's blog. Though I have never met the man, I do feel that I have gotten to know him through you, Ramani. His last post about unhappiness really hit home today. I'm sure many of us have been thinking about politics over the past months, and the convulsions occurring on Wall Street have been both amazing and distressing to watch. I know I used to get so angry about that stuff and, well, I still do. However, it doesn't have the grip it once did. I think the practice has done so much to loosen the bindings. So there can be a little mental freedom of movement, freedom to feel what is real, and to see (at last) that surrender is not such a freightening thing after all. Peace, Brad

I know what you mean. We can really begin to observe our minds going crazy....as if we are in a really really bad movie....and we want to fire the producer!!!!

Well, we can! We can reframe everything and suffer less.

Remember it's not the letting go that hurts, it's the hanging on!!
